About

About Us:

Rescue Quest was founded in 2018, by Bini Pitwell a passionate animal advocate.

During her animal rescue and advocacy efforts, she regularly experienced compassion fatigue, burn out and emotional distress. Unable to help animals during burn out, Bini realized the most effective and sustainable way to help animals is to prioritze healthy physical, emotional and mental well-being.

For many few years, Bini focused on her healing and growth with various retreats, workshops and therapies all around the world, which inspired her vision of supporting the well-being of other animal advocates so they can continue to make a positive impact for abused and exploited animals in a healthy and sustainable way.

The Quest:

Creating a world where all animals are treated with respect and compassion.

Vision:

Healing Retreats that prioritze the well-being of people who dedicate their time and energy to helping animals and creating places that can provide a safe sanctuary for animals in need, especially those affected by intensive farming.

Why:

For people, animals and the environment...

People advocating for animals regularly experience burn out and prioritising well being and safe spaces to thrive are important to stay sustainable and effective.

Billions of animals every year are needlessly exploited and killed for food, clothing experiements and entertainment.

These industries not only affect the animals being used, but also has devastating impacts on the environment and on the people working in these industries.

For example, Factory or Intensive Farms use a huge amount of water and land to grow crops to feed the animals, contaminate rivers and water with sewage and are the major offenders of greenhouse gas contributions.

Peopke working in factory farms have some of the highest rates of suicide, depression, PTSD, dosmetic violence and drug and alcohol abuse.

The animals used in factory farms are experiencing a living hell, absolutely horrifying conditions and whether you are vegan or not, all compassionate humans can agree that this is not an acceptable way to treat animals and needs to be made illegal

and shut down.

How:

Safe and Sustainable Communities where people can thrive and live in harmony with animals while working on animal welfare inititave projects together.

Priotitze the Well being of the people that are advocating for animals.

Creating inspiring work spaces and sharing resources and tools for people working on animal projects to collaborate together.

Changing the laws to make factory farming and other exploitative practices and indutries illegal.

Living as an example of the positive change we want to see in the world and teaching others how to do the same for their communities.
